A broad range of political and administrative initiatives and efforts to improve the security of core industries have long been underway. This has in turn opened doors for innovative solution and service providers.Shielding infrastructures from an evolving and expansive attack surface is no easy task. Dependency on archaic systems coupled with the lack of security training can spell disaster. It takes a three-pronged approach--involving education, legislation and technology--to protect critical infrastructures.
