For decades, fuel storage operations have relied on manual calculations and conventional time-based, flow-rate-based and blending methods to apply additives. While fuel chemistry has advanced significantly, these approaches can make it difficult to accurately match additive quantities to changing fuel volumes, often resulting in inconsistent dosing, overdosing or underdosing, and unnecessary product waste. The process of delivering precise amounts of additives at the right time remains a challenge, particularly across large-scale storage operations.
