BDP EnviroTech’s solutions can be fitted into existing industrial wastewater plants to increase capacity without adding any infrastructure (retrofitting). BDP has minimal maintenance requirements. Its patented aeration technology reduces operational expenditures, which typically takes up 60–70 percent of the overall cost of wastewater treatment plants, to a bare minimum. It also has simple maintenance mechanisms to prevent the basins in wastewater treatment plants from being emptied for maintenance, enabling continuous operation without downtime.

BDP is the world’s first and only full range mainstream simultaneous nitrification-denitrification process. Plants range from both small municipal mobile units (<0.5 MGD) up to large scale (53 MGD) industrial plants (equivalent to a 200 MGD municipal plant by biological load).
