At the end of the day, we enable clients to shift to green energy sources to achieve the aim of reducing carbon emissions
The Green Genius team understands that not every business has the required financial resources to set up a renewable energy power plant and wish to pay what they consume. To this end, Green Genius works with clients to understand their requirements and provides solar as a service by simply installing a solar power plant without any expense to generate electricity from the sun. With this innovative solar-as-a-service option, clients can start curtailing expenses without any upfront costs. Green Genius helps clients to transform the energy that they are using into green, clean, and low cost all at the same time. “We enable clients to shift to green energy sources to achieve the aim of reducing carbon emissions,” says Ruslan Sklepovič, the CEO of Green Genius. Green Genius also develops several biogas projects across Europe generating green energy and is also aiming to expand its biogas operations in the Polish market.
Green Genius has built one of the most advanced and efficient remote solar power plant in the Baltics for generating low cost green electricity for Lithuanian businesses.
The combined power of these solar power plants exceeded 13.5 MW, and the estimated annual output reached 17,000 MWh. The electricity produced by Green Genius is not only sustainable, but also local thereby increasing the country’s energy independence. Green Genius successfully completed the project in only three months. With such success stories, the company annually generates approximately 300 GWh of green energy, saving more than 280 thousand tonnes of CO2.
Another vital aspect that Green Genius now focuses on is the use of hydrogen in decarbonizing. After power generation, the next big source of CO2 emission is the transport sector, especially the heavy transport, aviation, and shipping sectors. Hydrogen, on the other hand, can be used as a fuel in the transport sector as well as a raw material in energy generation to make the move toward carbon neutrality. Produced by electrolysis of water using electricity from renewable energy sources, hydrogen, also known as green hydrogen, will create the energy backbone of the future economy. “Green Genius is developing a demonstration project to validate and verify its usage to go one step further than the status quo in the market,” adds Sklepovič. Reducing global CO2 emissions requires not only specific solutions, such as solar, wind and other renewable energy sources but also and above all enormous strength and determination to make a difference. At Green Genius, we are dedicated to carbon neutrality with our wide variety of green energy solutions,” he concludes.
