To assist the transition to hydrogen-electric solutions simpler for clients in different industries, one firm has invented a new Transition Services business area, which will provide consulting and application initiatives like training and turnkey solutions, among other things.
Fremont, CA: The increasing need to move to more sustainable manufacturing and energy intake has sparked a surge in interest in hydrogen-electric solutions over the last year. PowerCell Sweden, a company active in clean energy, has determined to propel its recent Transition Services business area to convert it simpler for customers in numerous segments to examine hydrogen and fuel cell possibilities.

PowerCell anticipates the new business sector to reinforce the company’s product sales and contribute to the core business’s growth by alleviating the transition to emission-free, hydrogen-based solutions.
“In the last year, we have observed how customers have changed from a phase in which they order casual fuel cells for exploratory testing of our technology to calculate how hydrogen-electric solutions can provide a long-term alternative to existing and often fossil-based technology.
Several customers will be leaving behind the technology that they may have used for almost one hundred years in favor of completely new solutions that they have minimal experience of. We have a significant role in making the transition simple and smooth. We need to create security for the customer,” states Richard Berkling, CEO PowerCell Sweden AB.
Application projects, Consultancy services, turnkey solutions, and training will be part of the new business area’s activities. Consultancy services will thoroughly examine customer needs and recommendations for various technical solutions.
Even solutions that aren’t dependent on hydrogen or fuel cells will be assessed and recommended if they better fit customer needs. In addition, PowerCell’s industrially stable fuel cell system and fuel cell stacks will be combined with the company’s capability to develop project-specific and application-related client adjustments for application projects.
Andreas Bodén, responsible for proposing new strategic business initiatives and driving the creation of new product oblations with complementary business models, will guide the new business area.
