Blackstone Resources AG is glad to announce that Blackstone Technology GmbH, its German subordinate, will twice its production capacity.

FREMONT, CA: Blackstone Resources AG is pleased to announce that Blackstone Technology GmbH, its German subsidiary, will twice its production capacity. Blackstone Technology's Dobeln plant of Saxony, the manufacturing capacity for Li-ion batteries with 3D-printed battery electrodes will be enhanced tenfold to 500 MWh per annum by 2022.

Triathlon Batteries GmbH, the greatest German manufacturer of industrial truck battery systems, recently signed an LOI(letter of intent) with the company to supply 3D printed battery cells for several hundred-megawatt hours each year.

Triathlon Batteries acknowledge the advantages of Blackstone's technology for their products and the larger market. There are also more LIOs with clients surrounding marine applications, e-motorcycles, e-commercial vehicles, and e-buses, with a total value of about EUR 184 million.

Blackstone Technology has the benefit of making batteries that fit perfectly into the installation locations of industrial vehicles. Modern forklifts are an example of this. As a result, the existing installation space standards, also known as battery troughs, will be applied less in vehicle design.

In addition, Blackstone Technology's innovative production process will allow vehicle designers to optimize space usage and eradicate the necessity for battery trenches with these new versatile battery formats.

The magnitude of the battery is not the just thing that may be changed. Through Blackstone Technology's proprietary 3D-printing technique, the needed energy density, thickness of the battery cells, and charging capabilities can be optimized based on the application.

Blackstone Pre-Life-Technology method will provide clients with previously unthinkable levels of vehicle design flexibility.

Standardized and static cell and battery designs curb the device or electric vehicle that can be powered today.

However, batteries can be developed in nearly any shape and size due to Blackstone's proprietary 3D-printing technology, allowing more creative freedom and helping make the most out of the available installation space while being cost-effective. Consequently, battery cells will adapt to the future ergonomic and practical shape of items.
