FREMONT, CA: Trico Corporation, a leading provider of lubrication management solutions, launches Sensei OLEX, a real-time lubrication system suitable for hazardous environments. Enabled on industrial equipment, Sensei wirelessly transmits oil level and ambient air temperature to a web-based dashboard that can be customized. As a result, users will get real-time updates on equipment status and necessary maintenance. Sensei can:
Reduce weekly inspection time from hours to minutes per week.
Decrease the number of times workers are required to visit locations that are difficult or unsafe to reach.
Help avoid downtime by offering alerts and warnings.
Enable the organization to operate more effectively by performing proactive, data-driven maintenance. Sensors for Sensei are configured to work with Trico's Opto-Matic Constant Level Oilers. Constant level oilers keep fluid levels consistent in pumps, engines, gearboxes, fans, blowers, and other machinery. Petrochemical, primary metals, chemical processing, pulp and paper, water management, food and beverage, power generation, mining, and other industries use industrial applications.
The system is composed of three parts:
Sensors for measuring oil level, oil intake, and ambient temperature are included in the Sensei Oil Leveling Device.
The Sensei Gateway is a secure data receiver that sends data to the cloud. Repeaters (as needed) allow for network expansion of up to 200 devices per gateway and a distance of up to 250 feet.
For real-time monitoring, intelligence is provided through an intuitive, web-based dashboard (there is no need to install software). The dashboard shows graphic displays of oil level and temperature by unit and regular updates, trending information, and other features.
