To provide regional subsurface knowledge, TGS’s Geoscience Interpretation group consistently delivers best-in-class multi-client, basin-wide studies to the industry to reduce the risk, time, and cost of the exploration-cycle. Seismic interpretation by the continuous research of geological and geophysical datasets supports the project throughout the entire exploration cycle. They include petrophysical and volumetric analyses. Post Well Analysis studies and suggests reasons for exploration success and failure by utilizing well and seismic data, with the help of geological, petrophysical and geophysical analysis. Fluctuating temperatures can be dangerous and a hindrance to work process. Also, temperature controls the rate of chemical reactions like kerogen transformation in source rocks. TGS’s proprietary methodology helps with this issue by generating accurate basin temperature models which help in identifying zones of anomalous fluid and heat flow.
TGS will right now be focusing on Jeanne d’Arc High-Density 3D multi-client project offshore Newfoundland, East Canada.
